What I do: I make beads and jewelry. I love experimenting with new techniques and evolving my work. That way, my work never becomes boring or stale to me and you get jewelry that is new and fresh.
Why Do I create: I would be lying if I said I did not do it for myself first and foremost. But, I delight in thinking of my jewelry going on adventures and new journeys. Having customers who enjoy wearable art is bliss. They inspire me to continue.
Why My Work is Unique: I create my own patterns or actually I should say I go where the beads take me. I draw inspiration from everything and I mean every thing. A puddle can inspire me.
Credentials: I have been making jewelry and handmade beads for over a decade and have had many of my pieces published in national bead and art magazines, such as Step by Step Beads, Creative Jewelry, Stringing, Polymer Cafe, and Bead Trends. One of my bead woven pieces made the cover of the final issue of Step by Step Beads. My jewelry has also been sold in the D.C. National Gallery of Art Museum store. I am a combination of self taught and taught by masters in my craft and am never done learning.
